Pozdravljeni!

Hrvatje letos organizirajo serijo on-line računalniških tekmovanj, ki so
nekako
mišljena za trening in priprave za takrat, ko bo šlo zares (npr. 31. marca
2007) :-D
Eno tako tekmovanje je že bilo, drugo po vrsti pa bo v soboto 25. novembra
2006
ob 15:00 po našem času. Registracija je možna že v tem trenutku. Vse ostale
informacije najdete na http://www.hsin.hr/coci/index.html, vključno z
nalogami in
rešitvami s prejšnjega tekmovanja.

O reševanju nalogah s COCI-ja in podobnih teče diskusija na forumu:

Croatia, the IOI host for 2007, is testing their grading system
with three-hour competitions. The next one is SATURDAY, November
25. This contest runs for EXACTLY THREE HOURS with a FIXED STARTING
TIME (thus cheating is just so much more difficult).

The contest commences promptly at 14h00 GMT (UTC) and presumably
ends at 17h00 GMT. In the USA, this is:

* 06:00-09:00 USA Pacific time (very early!)
* 07:00-10:00 USA Mountain time (early!)
* 08:00-11:00 USA Central time
* 09:00-12:00 USA Eastern time

I think the contest will have six tasks: two easy, two medium-hard,
and two very challenging.

This is not a "do it all weekend" contest! It is only available for
three hours.
