dr. Mitja Križman - >Izginjajoči rtič<

v četrtek, 4. 12. 2025, ob 18.00 v Galeriji Kemijskega inštituta

Dr. Mitja Križman je raziskovalec na Kemijskem inštitutu, ki deluje na področju prehrambene kemije in kemijske analitike. V zadnjih letih svoje raziskave usmerja predvsem v izboljšanje biodostopnosti naravnih spojin. Poleg znanstvenega dela ga že dolgo spremljata glasba in fotografija, s katero se je začel ukvarjati še pred vstopom v raziskovalni svet.

Razstava >Izginjajoči rtič< raziskuje obalno krajino, prežeto z zgodovino in biološkimi procesi. Osredotočenost na naravne procese in geomorfne sile pred nas postavlja nenehno spreminjanje prostora, v katerem ima človek sicer svojo vlogo, a je ta pogosto vidna le kot odtis, morda razpokan zid na obali, kjer se kamni počasi vračajo v svoj naravni habitat.

Razstava bo na ogled do 25. 1. 2026.

Dr. Mitja Križman - >The Disappearing Cape<

on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 18:00 in the Gallery of the National Institute of Chemistry

Dr. Mitja Križman is a researcher at the National Institute of Chemistry, working in the fields of food chemistry and chemical analytics. In recent years, his research has focused primarily on improving the bioavailability of natural compounds. Alongside his scientific work, he has long been accompanied by music and photography-an art form he began exploring even before entering the world of research.

The exhibition >The Disappearing Cape< explores a coastal landscape shaped by history and biological processes. Its focus on natural dynamics and geomorphic forces reveals the constant transformation of the environment, in which humans do play a role-yet this presence is often visible only as an imprint, perhaps a cracked wall along the shore, where stones slowly return to their original, natural habitat.
The exhibition will be on display until January 25, 2026.
