Predavanje/Lecture at NIC --> dr. David Foord - Enabling Atomic Engineering

wtih title: 

Enabling Atomic Engineering

 

 

 

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, 06.04.2011, at 9:30 in Fegeševa soba at National Institute Of Chemistry

 

 

Dr. Foord will present an insight into the new frontiers of the abberration-corrected 
transmission electron microscopy (TEM) at FEI and will introduce the newest company developements 
in the field of TEM.

 

The main body of the talk will focus on FEI's advanced microscopy solutions such as the Tecnai Osiris and the 
Titan instruments and their use in determining structures, chemistry and materials relationships at the atomic scale. 
 After outlining some of the most important aspects surrounding corrected TEM this talk will outline 
how the combination of extreme resolution, analytics, flexibility and stability of our solutions 
can enable researchers to engineer systems at the atomic scale.

 

 

The approximate length of the presentation is about 90 min.
