Dear colleagues,



we would like to inform you that the 11th European  Meeting on
Environmental Chemistry will be held on December 8 - 11, 2010 in in
the St. Bernardin, Adriatic Resort & Convention Center Portorož,
Slovenia.

EMEC11 carries on the tradition of previous meetings providing a forum
for exchange of ideas on recent advances in research and development
in environmental chemistry and technology for experts and
professionals from industry, research and academia.

Central theme of the conference is Chemistry for the Environment which
underlines the importance of research, development and application of
new materials and clean technologies, where chemistry with its
applications can contribute to a cleaner and more friendly environment
and it's remediation to all of us who live on this planet.

In addition, other topics, such as atmospheric chemistry, soil
chemistry, aquatic and marine chemistry, photochemistry and
photocatalysis, biodegradation and bioremediation, ecotoxicology and
biomarkers, emerging contaminants, wastewater and waste treatment,
analytical methods for environmental science and biomonitoring,
pollution and cultural heritage, will be covered within the conference
keynote, oral and poster sessions.
