Vabim vas na 51. Solomonov seminar, ki bo
v torek (11.9.2001) ob 13h v sejni sobi E8 (IJS).
Prvi popocitniski Solomonov seminar bo na temo
(pol)avtomatskega iskanja enacb, ki opisujejo nek
izmerjeni proces. Nas gost Takashi Washio
iz Japonske, ki sicer prihaja iz uglednega
znanstvenega okolja, bo predstavil svoje delo,
ki (na kratko povedano) za razliko od vecine
ostalih pristopov za konstrukcijo enacb, izhaja
iz lastnost domene, ki jo modelira.

Abstract
Discovery of scientific law equations in (semi-)automatic manner
is one of the most exiting topics in artificial intelligence which
provide fundamentals to the natural and social science. In this talk,
I show some important principles to mathematically characterize
the law equations in the science. These principles can be seen domain
knowledge in terms of computer science, but can be seen generic
and important knowledge in the natural and social science. Moreover,
I represent approaches to discover a complete law equation and
simultaneous law equations from experimental data based on the
above principles.
