On the occasion of the Inauguration of the first probe spherical aberration (Cs) corrected S/TEM in Slovenia we are pleased to invite you to our one-day Scientific Symposium  on Applications of Advanced Microscopy Techniques in Materials and Life Sciences, which will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia at National Institute of Chemistry on Friday, September 20th 2013.



The scientific symposium is jointly organized by the Centre of Excellence for Low - Carbon Technology and National Institute of Chemistry and will consist of nine lectures held by renown microscopy researchers<http://microscopy.ki.si/scientific-symposium/scientific-program/> from the fields of Life and Materials Sciences.

The talks will be held in English and will be covering the applications of advanced instrumentation and simulations for various materials problems.
