Supercritical fluids:  Fundamental and Applications

 

Abstract

The author presents brief report on his main research results on the problems of thermodynamics and reactivity of supercritical fluids for chemical reactions of various types including continuous hydrothermal synthesis of metal oxide nano- and micro-particles. The main attention is focused on transformations of monoterpenes and monoterpene epoxides in various supercritical solvents, calculation of phase and chemical equilibria of vegetable oil transetherification reactions, and mathematic modeling of the process of rapid expansion of supercritical fluids with the formation of nanoparticles.
