Podal bom zgodovinski pregled, ki pokriva zadnjih nekaj desetletij, o tem, kako so se prevladujoči teoretični predlogi o fiziki onkraj standardnega modela, pa tudi predsodki glede nje, odrezali v primerjavi z eksperimentalnimi ugotovitvami. Iz te izkušnje bom potegnil tisto, kar se mi zdi pomembno. To pomeni, da bom poskušal biti suveren in zato, upajmo, tudi spodbuden. Končal bom s kratkim pregledom trenutnih možnosti za odkrivanje nekaterih vrst fizike onkraj standardnega modela.</span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><b>O predavatelju</b>: Raymond R. I will provide a historical perspective, covering the last few decades, on how the dominant theoretical speculations and prejudices about BSM physics fared against experimental searches. I will draw what I think are important lessons from this experience. That means I will be opinionated, and thus hopefully stimulating. I will end with a brief overview of the current prospects for uncovering some BSM physics.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><b>About the lecturer</b>: Raymond R.
