Ključne komponente pri tem so strukturne napake, ki se raztezajo čez več dimenzij, vključno s točkovnimi napakami, dislokacijami, domenskimi stenami, mejami med zrni ter nanodomenami. Uporaba napredne vrstične presevne elektronske mikroskopije na atomski ravni z matričnim detektorjem 4D STEM omogoča analizo narave napak, opazovanje napetostnih polj, preučevanje porazdelitve gostote naboja ter raziskovanje dinamičnih odzivov pod vplivom zunanjih motenj. V predavanju bom predstavila različne strukturne študije feroelektrikov, kot so bizmutov ferit, kalijev natrijev niobat in barijev titanat. The critical components in this pursuit are <span lang=EN-US>structural </span>imperfections that span multiple dimensions, including point defects, dislocations, domain walls<span lang=EN-US>,</span> grain boundaries and nanodomains that interact with each other. Utilizing advanced atomic-scale scanning transmission electron microscopy with a 4D STEM pixelated detector allows us to analyze defect types, detect strain fields, observe charge density distribution, and study dynamic responses under external stimuli. In my talk, I will showcase various structural studies of ferroelectrics <span lang=EN-US>like </span>bismuth ferrite, potassium sodium niobate and barium titanate<span lang=EN-US>. </span>I<span lang=EN-US> will</span> explore how the type<span lang=EN-US>,</span> quantity <span lang=EN-US>and dynamics </span>of structural defects impact <span lang=EN-US>local </span>material properties<span lang=EN-US>, </span>offering the potential to tailor the<span lang=EN-US>se</span> properties<span lang=EN-US>.</span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;line-height:normal'><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;line-height:normal'><b>About the lecturer</b>: Andreja Benčan Golob is a scientific councilor at the Jožef Stefan Institute and a professor at the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School in Ljubljana.
