Lepo vabljeni!

Computer Science for All in England

Discussed will be the English experience of computer science education, looking firstly at some of the rationales for including coding and computational thinking on the English statutory national curriculum, and tracing some of the key stages of their journey from ICT to Computing. Into more detail will be presented the content of the new school curriculum and current exam specifications as well as how the broader ecosystem of universities, commercial suppliers and voluntary sector organisations have supported these initiatives. Challenges still ahead for delivering computer science education to all pupils will also be exposed.

Cordially invited!
