Spinska indukcija kot novi mehanizem pretvorbe energije

Sila na električni naboj elektrona je osnova nastanka inducirane napetosti,
ki jo opisuje l. 1831 odkriti Faradayev zakon klasičnega elektromagnetizma.
Prav ta zakon je vodil do razvoja sodobne električne industrije. V
predavanju bomo pokazali, da sila na spin elektronov povzroči t.i. spinsko
indukcijo. Tako posplošeni Faradayev zakon odraža ohranitev magnetne
energije feromagneta skupaj z električno energijo prevodnih elektronov preko
vzajemne izmenjalne interakcije. Zdi se, da bi spinska indukcija lahko
igrala ključno vlogo v spinski elektroniki ali na kratko spintroniki.

Predavanje bo v angleščini.

Lepo vabljeni!

Spin-Motive Force as a New Energy Conversion Mechanism

The force acting on the electric charge of electron gives rise to the
electro-motive force. This is Faraday's law in the classical
electromagnetism discovered in 1831. It is noted that the modern electric
industry started with this law. Here we show that the force acting on the
electron spin gives rise to a motive force, i.e., "spin-motive force". This
generalized Faraday's law reflects the conservation of the magnetic energy
of a ferromagnet with the electrical energy of the conduction electrons via
the mutual exchange interaction. We discuss that the spin-motive force may
play a key role in spin-electronics, i.e., spintronics.

We look forward to meeting you at the "Kolokvij na IJS"!
