Superprevodnost: Sklopitev med elektroni in fononi ter nekonvencionalno
parjenje z odbojno interakcijo
Iskanje boljših superprevodnikov z višjo temperaturo prehoda, ki prenesejo
močnejša magnetna polja in večje kritične tokove, je eden glavnih izzivov
fizike kondenzirane snovi. V Bardeen-Cooper-Schriefferjevi teoriji
superprevodnosti pride do tvorbe Cooperjevih parov zaradi interakcije, ki jo
posredujejo nihanja kristalne mreže (torej fononi). V predavanju bomo
obravnavali različne eksperimentalne metode, ki omogočajo ovrednotenje
jakosti sklopitve med elektroni in fononi. Posvetili se bomo tudi
teoretičnim omejitvam nekonvencionalne superprevodnosti, kakršno da odbojna
interakcija med elektroni.
Predavanje bo v angleščini.

Superconductivity: Electron-phonon Coupling and Unconventional Pairing with
Repulsive Interaction
The quest for better superconductors, with higher transition temperatures
that perform at higher magnetic fields and lead to higher critical currents
is one of the major challenges in condensed matter physics. In the
Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer theory of superconductivity, electrons form Cooper
pairs as a result of an interaction mediated by vibrations in the underlying
crystal structure (phonons). In my talk I will review different
experimental techniques which allow an evaluation of the strength of the
interaction between electrons and phonons. The theoretical constraints for
an unconventional superconductivity caused by repulsive interaction will be
also discussed.
