<p><span>Dear all,</span><br /><br /><span>You are kindly invited to submit a paper to the Slovenian Language Technologies and Digital Humanities Conference - JTDH 2022 (</span><a href="https://www.sdjt.si/jtdh-2022/en/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">https://www.sdjt.si/jtdh-2022/en/</a><span>).</span><br /><br /><span>The conference is organized by the Slovenian Language Technologies Society, CLARIN.SI, DARIAH-SI and Centre for Language Resources and Technologies at the University of Ljubljana. It will take place September 15-16 2022 at the Institute of Contemporary History, Privoz 11, Ljubljana. In the event of a poor epidemiological situation the conference will be virtual.</span><br /><br /><span>The conference is thematically broad and aims to bring together researchers from various backgrounds and methodological frameworks. The main topics include but are not limited to:</span><br /><span>- speech and other mono- and multilingual language technologies;</span><br /><span>- digital linguistics: translation studies, corpus linguistics, lexicology and lexicography, standardisation;</span><br /><span>- digital humanities and historical studies, ethnology, musicology, cultural heritage, archaeology, and fine arts;</span><br /><span>- digital humanities in education and digital publishing.</span><br /><br /><span>We welcome submissions that present research, good practices, guidelines, projects and results in these areas. The conference will also include invited lectures, a student session, and a round table on topics related to the conference. The official languages of the conference are Slovene and English.</span><br /><br /><span>We are accepting submissions in the form of extended abstracts (2-4 pages) and full papers (6-8 pages). We are also accepting student papers (6-8 pages) for the Student Session. Student papers can be submitted by students of all levels of university programmes and will be eligible for the best student paper award. All co-authors of student papers must be students. Submissions co-authored by students and their supervisors are welcome in the regular session. The full instructions for authors are given on the conference web page: </span><a href="https://www.sdjt.si/jtdh-2022/en/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">https://www.sdjt.si/jtdh-2022/en/</a><span>.</span><br /><br /><span>Important dates:</span><br /><span>- 30. 05. 2022 extended deadline for submissions of papers and abstracts</span><br /><span>- 30. 06. 2022 notification of acceptance</span><br /><span>- 15. 08. 2022 camera-ready submission</span><br /><span>- 15. - 16. 09. 2022 conference</span><br /><br /><span>Best regards,</span><br />Taja Kuzman</p>
