Due to multiple requests, we are pleased to announce a deadline extension
for submissions to the South Slavic Languages in the Digital Environment
(JuDig), which will be held from 26–28 October 2026 at the Faculty of
Mining and Geology, University of Belgrade. The new submission deadline is

We are glad to announce that

The Second International Conference

South Slavic Languages in the Digital Environment  (JuDig)

will be held from 26–28 October 2026 at the Faculty of Mining and Geology,
University of Belgrade.



The conference aims to foster networking and to provide a forum for
high-quality research in all (sub)domains of computational linguistics and
related topics, with a special focus on language resources and technologies
available for Serbian and other South Slavic and Balkan languages. During
the conference, several workshops will be organized on a thematic basis.
All conference sessions will be held in a hybrid mode.

Extended abstract and paper submission:

Extended abstracts and papers are invited for 20-minute presentations,
followed by a 10-minute discussion, on any of the following topics,
including but not limited to:
Information Technologies in the Processing of South Slavic Languages

·         Morphological, syntactic, and semantic analysis

·         Natural Language Processing (NLP) for Serbian and other South
Slavic languages

·         Automatic normalization

Extended abstracts and papers can be in one of the South Slavic languages
or in English. The length of the abstract should be from 1000 to 2500
words, including examples and diagrams (no more than 10 pages without
references). Papers should be between 4500 and 6000 words (maximum 20 pages
without references). The deadline for sending extended abstracts and papers
is May 15, 2026 June 1, 2026.

Registration fee:

·         Regular: 120€ (early bird, until 31 August 90 €)

·         Reduced: 50€ (early bird 40 €) (PhD students, scholars from war
and conflict zones, accompanying persons)



The registration fee includes the conference pack, refreshments, and
welcome reception. The conference dinner is to be paid separately, and it
costs 50€. Registration will start on 1 August 2026.



Conference Proceedings:

All abstracts and full papers submitted for the conference proceedings will
be reviewed through a double-blind process, and accepted ones will be
published electronically.
