 application as traction batteries in cars new challenges arise, especially with respect to the specific energy which controls the driving range of the electric car.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

 the aging phenomena very well. In the talk the different aging mechanisms in Li-ion batteries are discussed and several methods how to analyse the aging of Li-ion batteries are introduced.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
